PROCOR’S WCPD, RECOGNIZED

The Chief of PROCOR’S WCPD, PMAJ MARCY GRACE U MARRON, proudly received the Plaque of Recognition for PROCOR for being adjudged as one of the Outstanding PNP Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) in the country, held during the closing ceremony of the 12th PNP Biennial Summit of the Women in Community Policing in Tagaytay City on November 18, 2022.

The 3-day summit with the theme: “Kababaihan, Kaagapay sa Pagharap sa mga Pagsubok Tungo sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran”, was held in Summit Ridge Hotel in Tagaytay City from November 16-18, 2022. The summit was participated by female police officers from the PNP Directorial Staff, National Support Units, and other Police Regional Offices.

Also, PGEN  RODOLFO S AZURIN JR, Chief PNP, graced the event as the guest of honor and speaker.

The summit is a joint project of the Soroptimist International of the Americas – Philippines Region and the Philippine National Police (PNP) which recognizes the efforts of the police force; in particular, the women who have indefatigably exerted efforts to protect civilians’ rights amid this pandemic at the risk of their health.
