UNDAS 2022, GENERALLY PEACEFUL IN THE CORDILLERA REGION
PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR on Thursday (November 3, 2022) announced that the observance of UNDAS 2022 in the Cordillera Region was relatively peaceful with no significant incidents that could disrupt people from visiting their loved ones in cemeteries amidst typhoon #PaengPH.
“So far, sa monitoring natin through the Regional Operations Division ay wala namang naireport na major crime or incidents in relation to UNDAS ang nareceive ng ating opisina,” PBGEN BAZAR said in a statement.
According to the Regional Director, the peaceful observance of the Undas 2022 can be attributed to the cooperation of the public and the help of the force multipliers and other government agencies in manning the different Police Assistance Desks (PADs) established in major thorough fare and cemeteries.
It can be recalled that a week before the All Saint Day celebration, the Regional Director instructed the maximum deployment of PROCOR Cops to ensure the security of the public as the annual celebration coincided with a long weekend and in anticipation of the influx of tourists.
(PROCOR-PIO)
