Benguet PPO, to enhance gun proficiency of COPS in the province
Aiming to improve the firearms proficiency of Benguet cops, Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) spearheaded the conduct of Basic Pistol Handling and Modified Handgun Marksmanship Training in Shilan Firing Range, La Trinidad, Benguet, from October 19 to 20, 2022.
PCOL DAMIAN D OLSIM, Benguet PPO Provincial Director, supervised the opening of the said training which was participated by 40 police officers from Benguet PPO Provincial Headquarters, Tublay Municipal Police Station, and 2nd Benguet Provincial Mobile Force Company with the rank of Patrolman/Patrolwoman.
The said activity is the first batch in a series of similar training which is scheduled to be conducted for the other police officers from the different units of Benguet PPO.
“Together, let us promote competence, professionalism, and responsible gun ownership among PNP personnel the same way as we promote responsible gun ownership among civilians,” PCOL OLSIM said. (PROCOR-PIO / File Photos)
