BAGUIO CITY – This year’s all magic and fun experience with SM City Baguio’s Yuletide Adventure.

This year’s Christmas will be more than just sight, but a total experience from music, flavors, scent, and touch.

SM City Baguio Assistant Manager Michael Jason Peña said in his opening remark, “In the Philippines and most especially here at SM, Christmas has always been a momentous celebration. We began the season of giving the last September 17 which marks 100 days to Christmas. This year, we partnered with cause-oriented groups for their beneficiaries and charities.

“Today, we launch our Christmas centerpieces, signaling the start of Holiday Happiness and spectacle in each of the communities we are in. We thank our LGU partner –The City of Baguio Councilor Leah Aromin Fariñas, City Tourism Officer Engr. Alec Mapalo, and DOT-CAR Regional Director Jovita Ganongan.

“Because we’ve missed you these past 2 years, we promise to bring back a truly a magical experience in every one of our 80 malls nationwide, especially here at SM City Baguio.

“What can your families and friends expect from SM this Christmas? Aside from lighting up our magnificent trees and activating our Happiness Stations with our cause-oriented charities, we will be launching a series of memorable Christmas activations throughout the season, from augmented reality, to choirs and flash mobs, to sale events and Christmas Markets, feasts, and parties with family and friends,”

“Christmas is for the children, it is said, and this year, our annual tradition  – the bears of joy – will feature a family of bears to keep and collect. For each one you buy, another will be donated to a community charity. Here in Baguio, we will donate the Bears of Joy to Baguio Everlasting Lion’s Club,”

“This brings me finally to what Christmas is all about – the spirit of giving.

Giving back our blessing to the community, to those with less, and to our families, friends, and loved ones. Give a small gift, your time, your attention, and your laughter this holiday season. There’s no better place to do this than at SM City Baguio.

“Merry Christmas to you all and thank you for giving us a home here in Baguio City,” Peña concluded.

City Tourism Officer Engr.
