The Camp Bado Dangwa Hospital located inside the Regional Headquarters of Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) is now accredited as a Philhealth Konsulta Package Health Care Facility Provider.

The accreditation program was held in the Hospital Lobby wherein PBGEN JOHN C CHUA, the Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA), graced the momentous occasion as the guest of honor and speaker.

Present also during the program were the members of the Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (RAGPTD) of the Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU) – COR headed by Dr. Felipe S Comilla, the President of Benguet State University (BSU).

As the highlight of the program, a Certificate of Accreditation to the RMDU-COR was presented by Ms. Janet M Palaez, the Social Insurance Officer of PhilHealth.

Meanwhile, PBGEN CHUA commended the intensified efforts of the RMDU-COR under the leadership of PCOL JESSIEMYR N PROTACIO, the former Chief of RMDU-COR, for becoming the first Philhealth Konsulta Package Provider among the RMDUs nationwide with health care facilities.

“Through the efforts of the RMDU-COR and the RAGTPD,  it is a privilege for us here at PROCOR to be accredited as one of the healthcare facilities for the PhilHealth Konsulta which marks the beginning of better access to primary healthcare services. This shall be a life gift to every police officer in PROCOR in assuring comprehensive outpatient benefits for better medical care,” PBGEN CHUA said. (PROCOR-PIO / File photos)
