UB is 4th Top Performing Medical Technologist school in PH

The City Council, during last Monday’s regular session, commended and congratulated the University of Baguio (UB) for being the No. 4 top performing school nationwide with a rating of 80.37 percent in the August 2022 medical technologist licensure examination.

In a resolution, local legislators claimed that the local government is proud of UB’s accomplishment, thus, it is fitting to commend the higher education institution for its relentless hardwork and determination to produce competent professionals worthy of laudable recognition from concerned sectors.

Earlier, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the medical technologist licensure examination nationwide last August 20-21, 2022.

Further, the PRC affirmed that out of 3,582 examinees who took the said examination, some 1,796 were able to successfully pass the said examination that was conducted in various testing centers around the country.

Subsequently, UB ranked 4th as the top performing medical technologist school nationwide with a rating of 80.37 percent with 86 successful examinees out of the 187 that were allowed to take the said examination. – Dexter A. See
