Apayao COPS joins walk for a cause in support of Brigada Eskwela

Police officers from Luna Municipal Police Station walked with the community to raise awareness and support for the Brigada Eskwela 2022.

With the theme: “Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral”, the Walk for A Cause was initiated by the teachers of Luna Central School and was participated by the local officials and residents of Luna, Apayao.

The activity started in Brgy. San Isidro Sur ended at the Luna Municipal Hall grounds where a Zumba dance exercise was conducted as part of the program.

As the highlight of the activity, a Pledge of Commitment was signed by the participants in support of the different activities under the Brigada Eskwela Program of the Department of Education.

Also, a tree planting activity was held at the school grounds of Luna Central School wherein a total of 30 seedlings of Mahogany were planted. (PROCOR-PIO)
