Giving back to the community: RD Lee initiate an Outreach in Bauang

PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE with his better half, Ms. Bong Lee initiated a Joint Medical Outreach Program in partnership with the La Union Provincial Police Office and UCCP Calumbaya in Brgy. Parian Weste, Bauang, La Union on June 26, 2022.

As the Provincial Director of La Union PPO, PCOL JONATHAN G CALIXTO welcomed the participants and the team PROCOR headed by PBGEN LEE. Afterward, Punong Barangay Imelda B. Coquia of Parian Weste delivered her message of appreciation to the PNP officers who initiated the program in their barangay.

In total, 307 residents of Parian Weste and its adjacent barangays have attended the outreach program.

According to the Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU) – Cordillera, they provided free medical consultation with free medicines to 108 beneficiaries. RMDU personnel led by PCOL JESSIEMYR PROTACIO also conducted a lecture on proper oral hygiene then they distributed free dental kits.

Meanwhile, 15 residents have availed of the free haircut services from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15).

As the highlights of the program, PBGEN LEE assisted by Ms. Bong Lee distributed school supplies and slippers to the children while free assorted vegetables were turned over to the barangay officials of Brgy. Parian Weste for their redistribution to their constituents.

“Ginawa natin ang programang ito bilang pasasalamat sa lugar na aking kinalakihan at bilang pakiki-isa sa UCCP Anniversary Celebration,” PBGEN LEE said in a statement.

Also present during the outreach program were PBGEN JOHN C CHUA, PROCOR Deputy Regional Director for Administration; PCOL BENJAMIN SEMBRANO, PROCOR Deputy Regional Director for Operations; PCOL ELMER RAGAY, PROCOR Chief Regional Staff; and other key officers of PROCOR. (PROCOR-PIO)
