New set of OWLs officers take oath of office
8 March 2022 – Vice-Mayor Faustino Olowan Jr. administered the oath of office to the new set of officers of the Outstanding Women Leaders of Baguio City (OWLS-BC) during flag-raising rites, March 7, at City Hall as part of the city’s celebration of Women’s Month.
President is Dona Digna Salvador Rosario with Emerita Cambaliza Fuerte as vice president; Erlinda Isla Dacanay, secretary; and Jocelyn Lardizabal Mariano as treasurer.
OWLS-BC business manager 1 is Jennifer Mejia Dizon; Melanie Lingbawan Singson, business manager 2; Maria Christine Ponce Garcia, auditor; while Mary Ann Ollaging Tresmanio is PRO.
Elected last February 26 during the organization’s 4th Annual General Membership meeting held face to face and online via zoom, the new set of officers will hold office from March 8, 2022 to March 7, 2024.
The OWLS-BC board of advisers include Marlene Baltazar De Castro, councilor Lilia Aromin Farinas, Patricia Anne Gallardo Marcelo, former councilor Perlita Chan Rondez and Imelda Dela Cuesta Bisnar.“We Make CHANGE Work for Women”, is this year’s National Women’s Month theme. – Gaby B. Keith
