7th, 10th placers in respiratory therapist exam cited

City officials recently congratulated and commended Giselle Baquillan Alvarez and Seneca Eser Portugal, both alumni of the Pines City Colleges, for ranking 7th and 10th placers, respectively in the February 2024 respiratory therapist licensure examination.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that the city government proudly recognizes and commends the outstanding achievement of the passers, together with their esteemed institution that contributed in further promoting and sustaining the cityโ€™s identity as the education center of the north.

Earlier, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the licensure examination for respiratory therapist examination last February 6-7, 2024.

Subsequently, the PRC announced that out of 1,383 examinees, 1077 successfully passed the said examination.

Further, two alumni of PCC Alvarez ranked 7th with an average of 90.25 percent and Portugal ranked 10th with an average of 89.50 percent.

Copies of the approved resolution will be transmitted to the aforesaid examinees and the institution where they graduated for their information, guidance, ready reference and further needed action. – Dexter A. See
