7 inspiring Female Police Officers recognized during the Women’s Month Kick-off

Paying tribute to their remarkable contributions in the field of public service, seven (7) inspiring female police officers from the different units of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) were given PNP Medals during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on March 6, 2023.

As part of the Women’s Month Kick-off Ceremony, the guest of honor and speaker, Dir. Helen R. Tibaldo of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – CAR, led the awarding of deserving police officers. She was assisted by PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, PROCOR Regional Director, and other members of the PROCOR Command Group.

Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) was given to PCPT GINABEL DAO-INON and PMSg Jenilyn Gaboy of Apayao Police Provincial Office (PPO) for the successful implementation of a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of one drug personality in Apayao.

Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal) was given to PLTCOL DOMINGA TERRADO and PSSg Grail Ann Alipio of Benguet PPO for the successful conduct of the two-day theoretical driving course that benefited a total of 74 participants held in  Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on January 31 to February 1, 2023.

Further, Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya (PNP Relations Medal) is presented to PCPT MARICRIS MELCHOR and PSMS Junia L Talingdan of Abra PPO for providing Pangkabuhayan Package to a solo Parent and one of the drug surrenderee in Danglas, Abra.

Also, the same award was given to PCPl Ardayle Callueng of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD) for celebrating her birthday through sharing of food packs, hygiene kits, and goodies bags with 19 Day-Care pupils of Barangay Fairview Day Care Center in Baguio City.
