6th placer in licensure examination for electrical engineers hailed

City officials recently congratulated and commended Jurgen John Lopez Lagdao of St. Louis University (SLU) for placing 6th in the licensure examination for electrical engineers held in September 2023.

In a resolution authored by Councilor Leandro B. Yangot, Jr., Lagdao’s incredible performance in the licensure examination for electrical engineers is worthy of praise and appreciation by not only the local government but also the people of the city.

Further, he claimed that such a feat is a testament of the quality of education being provided by the various educational institutions in the city which truly makes the entire Louisian community and the city proud.

Lagdao, an alumni of SLU School of Engineering and Architecture, earned a rating of 88.20 percent in the licensure examination for electrical engineers given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Electrical Engineering.

On September 8, 2023, the PRC announced that 1,218 out of 3,945 examinees passed the September 2023 registered electrical engineers licensure examination that was held last September 2-3, 2023 in various testing centers in the different parts of the country.
