51 PROCOR COPS complete drug enforcement course

A total of 51 Cordillera cops successfully completed the Drug Enforcement Course and formally graduated in a simple Closing Ceremony held at the Sinagtala Building in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on December 6, 2021.

The ceremony was graced by PCOL BYRON B TEGUI-IN, the Chief of the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division (RLDDD), as the keynote speaker.

As part of the event, PLTCOL RICHARD B ALBON, the Assistant Chief of RLDDD, presented the participants while PCOL LEON P TALLEO, the Chief of the Regional Special Training Unit โ€“ Cordillera (RSTU-COR), officially declared the participants as graduates.

The Drug Enforcement Course (DEG) is a 20-day training aimed to equip the participants with the knowledge and skills needed in the performance of anti-illegal drugs operations to ensure the successful prosecution of drug cases and enhance public awareness on the harmful effects of dangerous drugs in partnership with the community.

The training was conducted through an online/virtual mode of learning and was virtually participated by nine (9) Police Commissioned Officers (PCO) and 41 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCO) from the different units of PROCOR.

In his message, PCOL TEGUI-IN, congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to continually enhance their knowledge and skills for them to excel in their careers.

โ€œYour newfound knowledge in anti-illegal drug operations will be your main weapon to abate uncertainties and hesitancy in the performance of your duties. Your confidence should have been boosted and hopefully, this will lead to the execution of your tasks with efficiency and effectiveness,โ€ PCOL TEGUI-IN added. (PROCOR-PIO)
