51 CORDILLERA COPS SET FOR POLICE-COMMUNITY AFFAIRS COURSE
Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – (May 31, 2021) – 51 cops will train for Police Community Affairs Development (PCAD) Course as they formally opened their training via virtual ceremony held today, May 28, 2021.
The class composed of 8 Police Commissioned Officers and 43 Police Non-Commissioned Officers, of which, 7 are from Benguet PPO, 6 each from Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province and from the Regional Headquarters; 5 each from Baguio CPO, Abra PPO and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15), 4 from Apayao and one from PRO 8.
Geared at training personnel with necessary skills for the effective implementation of PCR-related programs, the PCAD course is a 45-day training to develop the personnel in community organizing and mobilizing skills as well as in public speaking.
In his message, PCOL GLENN N LONOGAN, Chief RLDDD, encouraged the participants to take advantage of the training in order to acquire skills needed to improve their services when they go back to their respective assignments. (PROCOR-PIO)
