5 Drug personalities busted in separate operations
PROCOR’s intensive effort to curb the presence of illegal drugs in the region resulted in the arrest of five (5) drug personalities in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Benguet and Baguio City on October 16, 2021.
Based on reports submitted to PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, Regional Director, the suspects were identified as Marlouie Almonte Llarena, 32; Jefferson Pinas Garcia aka Kosil (HVI), 26; Hubert Cudli Pussan (SLI), 34; Rodler Alapit Nicer, 19; and Lloyd B Ojano, 19.
In Barangay Ferdinand, Baguio City, Llarena was arrested by joint operatives of BCPO, RID/RSOG PROCOR, and PDEG SOU-14 after he sold to an operative who posed as poseur buyer one (1) sachet of suspected shabu with a total estimated weight of two (2) grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) amounting to P13,600.00.
In Legarda, Baguio City, Nicer and Ojano were arrested by joint operatives of BCPO, RIU-14 and RECU COR, after they sold to an operative acting as poseur buyer two (2), pieces of transparent plastic ziplock containing suspected marijuana dried leaves weighing more or less 95 grams with SDP amounting to Php 11,400.00.
During the course of their arrest, another two (2) pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected Marijuana dried leaves weighing MOL 13 grams with SDP of Php 1,560.00 were seized from Ojana’s possession.
Meanwhile, in Mankayan, Benguet, Pussan and Garcia were arrested by joint operatives of Benguet PPO and PDEA-Benguet after an operative acting as poseur buyer was able to buy one (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.18 grams with SDP amounting to Php1,224.00 from them.
Moreover, during the course of their arrest, another two (2) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.48 grams with SDP amounting to Php 3,264.00 were seized from their possession.
The pieces of evidence were marked and inventoried on-site in the presence of the suspects and witnessed by the respective DOJ representatives, media representatives and Barangay officials.
The suspects were brought to their respective operating units while a case for violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Drug Act of 2002 is being prepared for filing against them. (PROCOR-PIO)
