3rd runner-up in Miss Universe-Philppines pageant commended

City officials recently congratulated and commended Justine Tarah Marie Valencia for placing third runner-up in the recently concluded Miss Universe–Philippines beauty pageant and for being crowned as the new Miss Supranational–Philippines.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that showing both beauty and wit, Miss Valencia served as an inspiration to all young ladies in the city.

Further, not only did she make her family proud of her recent achievement but also the entire city as well.

Valencia, a home-grown lass, landed as the third runner-up in the recently concluded Miss Universe–Philippines beauty pageant.

Moreover, she was also crowned as the new Miss Supranational–Philippines which was one of the awards that were conferred to the winners during the said pageant.

The local beauty queen finished her degree in Bachelor of Science in International tourism Management with specialization in International Tourism from the University of Baguio (UB) s cum laude.

Earlier, she was crowned as the 2023 Miss Baguio–Torismo and Miss Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio (HRAB) last year.

The council noted that Valencia had been spearheading initiatives for responsible tourism, such as cleanup drivers in the city among other related activities.

The beauty queen hopes to inspire people, especially the youth, to help in the ongoing efforts to preserve and protect the environment.
