2nd North Luzon Travel Expo set on Nov. 25-27 at CAP, Camp John Hay
BAGUIO CITY – Tinalakay sa ginanap na press conference sa Grand Sierra Pines Hotel noong ika-18 ng November ang nalalapit na ikalawang North Luzon Travel Expo (NLTE) sa November 25 -27 na pangungunahan ng Department of Tourism para sa pagpapaunlad ng rehiyonal na turismo. Masasaksihan dito ang mga magkakaibang kultura at likas na kayamanan ng North Luzon na nag-aanyaya sa mga lokal at internasyonal na manlalakbay para tuklasin ang mga natatanging handog ng mga kaakit-akit na mga pangunahing lugar na mapapasyalan at magpapakita rin ng mga bago at umuusbong na destinayon, produkto at serbisyo.
Ang NLTE ay isang plataporma para sa mga manlalaro ng industriya sa rehiyon upang ipakita ang pinakamahusay na paglalakbay at turismo na handog ng North Luzon at upang pasiglahin ang pag-unlad ng lokal na industriya ng turismo na ang mangungunang magho host dito ay ang apat na region ang (Region 1, 2, 3, at CAR)
Nagpahayag ng suporta ang mga panelista sa pangunguna ni DOT-CAR Regional Director Jovi Ganongan,” this is a significant milestone in the dynamic landscape of tourism. It is set to take place from November 25 to 27, 2023 at the CAP Convention Center, Camp John Hay, Baguio City.

“The success of the inaugural vision last year in Clark, Pampanga, the NLTE is a collaborative effort between among the Department of Tourism Regional Offices of the Cordillera Administrative Region, Region 1, 2, and 3 co-organized this year with the Association of Travel and Tours Management in the Cordillera (ATTIC).
“This expo is a testament to unity and commitment of stakeholders in fostering to growth of the local tourism industry.
“The North Luzon Travel Expo aims to create the synergy that strengthen the tourism value chain by converging existing and view domestic tourism products destinations and services the expo seeks to elevate North Luzon’s profile in both local and international market.
“We are honored to announce that the opening ceremony of the North Luzon Travel Expo will be grace by the esteemed presence of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco this on the score significance of this event in the national calendar. All of the Department of Tourism Regional Offices in the entire country will be here in the City of Baguio to showcase their products and services,”
The NLTE will feature a tourism and travel fair showcasing new and emerging destinations products and services at the CAP, Convention Center.
The expo will host a Hibla ng Lahing Pilipino Fashion Parade will set the stage at the Manor Garden Camp John Hay on November 26, 2023, and will showcase Regal Fabrics from the North Luzon regions in recognition of the weavers of indigenous Filipino textiles who painstakingly create them.
Music Show on November 25-27 (from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm) The musical festival is a vibrant component of the North Luzon Travel Expo aimed at showcasing the rich musical heritage and talent of the North Luzon regions in the Philippines. The festival will feature a diverse range of musical genres, traditional performances, and contemporary acts to create an immersive and memorable experience for attendees.

Siniguro naman ni Ramoncito Cabrera, General Manager ng The Manor na nakahanda na ang John Hay bilang host venue ang Camp John Hay para sa North Luzon Travel Fair.

Ayon naman kay Enrique Esguerra, President of the Association of Travel and Tours Management in the Cordilleras (ATTIC), “Sa mga kababayan natin turistang gusto maglakbay sa malayong lugar at hindi kabisado ang mga daan sa Cordillera ay may ginawa ang expo ng booth na mga nakatalagang day tour optional to avail na may guide at transportation pero may minimum kung ilan lang ang pwede dahil may mga naka antabay na van at upang makaiwas rin sa mga ma trapik na daan ay kailangan mag dispersed ang mga turista dahil maraming lugar naman ang pwedeng ma explore sa Cordillera tulad sa Northern Blossom sa Atok, Rice Terraces in Bontoc, trekking, lets’ travel farther and really seek for meaningful peaceful, blissful and fun tour around Cordillera,”
Kasama rin na pinagmamalaki ni Ms. Loryna C. Fonacier na kumakatawan kay RD Joseph Francisco Ortega, Regional Director DOT – Region I, ang kanilang mga kapistahan at mga produkto maging ang mga beaches resort places na tunay na magbibigay ng aliw sa mga turista.
