26 companies to join Kalayaan Jobs Fair
Some twenty-six local companies and overseas employment agencies have signified their intention to actively participate in the upcoming Kalayaan Jobs Fair that will be held at the Bishop Carlito Cenzon Sports Center of the St. Louis University (SLU) along Bonifacio St. on Sunday, June 12, 2022.
Based on the data obtained from the City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the Cordillera office of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-CAR), there will be 20 local companies and 6 overseas employment agencies that will be offering available jobs during the whole-day affair.
However, jobseekers are advised to pre-register now at the PESO and DOLE-CAR offices until Friday and at the Malcolm Square on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
The partial list of participating local companies include Saint Louis University (SLU), Baguio Country Club (BCC), Tipco Estates Corporation, Fifth Discipline Packaging Paper Corporation, Fc Laranang, Super Value Inc., Xisco, Summit Bank/ Benguet Prime, Texas Instruments, Jomarcann, Mary Grace, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific, SM supermalls and Full Suite and Alumni.
On the other hand, the list of the participating overseas employment agencies have yet to be made available to date.
At the same time, various government agencies will also be in the vicinity of the jobs fair site to offer their one-stop shop services for the job seekers.
Among the agencies offering their services include the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Pag-ibig, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police (PNP), DOLE, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
