201 ROOKIE COPS COMPLETE THEIR BASIC RECRUIT COURSE

The Newtown Plaza Hotel in Baguio City was filled with pride and joy as proud parents and family members gathered to celebrate the graduation of 201 police trainees from PSBRC Batch 2023-01 “BALAGSIK” on May 30, 2024.

The graduates, consisting of 59 females and 142 males from Alpha to Delta companies, have completed their Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) at the Police Regional Training Center (PRTC)-Cordillera, and they are now ready for another phase of their development, the six-month Field Training Program.

The momentous event was graced by the Representative of the Lone District of Benguet, Hon. Congressman Eric Go Yap, who Ms. Khristine E. Molitas represented from the office of the Congressman, was also attended by the Chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division, PCOL ARNOLD D RAZOTE, the Chief of the PRTC-Cordillera, PCOL EDUARDO L DANGUECAN, JR., the PRTC-Cordillera Staff and Tactics, the AFPSLAI Baguio Branch Head, Mr. Nelson DG Enrique, and the families of the police trainees.

As the highlight of the ceremony, three police trainees were given Certificates of Merit for their outstanding performance during the course:

Pat Audi M Sinong (91.69%)

Pat Fujimory B Lawa  (91.38%)

Pat Aaron L Blas (90.76%)

Also, NPTI Director Leadership Awards were given to Pat Alvin B Utang, who served as the Battalion President, while Pat Silvestre A. Bangloy received the same award for serving as Battalion Commander.

As part of the program, Ms. Molitas conveyed Hon. Congressman Yap’s message, congratulating the graduates and acknowledging their dedication and effort throughout the course. She encouraged them to put into practice the knowledge and skills they had acquired during their training.
