2 Drug personalities busted, P10.8M worth Marijuana seized

Two (2) drug personalities were arrested and Php 10,800,000.00 worth of marijuana bricks were seized by joint operatives of Benguet PPO and PDEA during a buy-bust operation conducted in Brgy Badiwan, Tuba, Benguet in the morning of November 18, 2021.

Citing the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the arrested drug suspects were identified as Kristofferson Balbin Domogan, 38, and Jayson Ewad Bananao, 29.

Reports revealed that the suspects were arrested after they sold 90 pieces of marijuana bricks weighing 90 kilograms with an estimated market value amounting to Php 10,800,000.00 to an operative who acted as a poseur buyer.

The pieces of evidence confiscated were marked and inventoried on-site in the presence of the suspects and witnessed by Prosecutor Bernoulli M. Binay-an; Kagawad Robert Yaris of Brgy Poblacion, Tuba; and media representative Janice Denice.

Further, the suspects, along with pieces of evidence seized, were brought to the custody of PDEA Benguet for documentation and proper disposition. Moreover, a case for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared for filing against them. (PROCOR-PIO)
