19.2 M worth of Marijuana burned, 6 drug personality nabbed

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet- The intensified campaign of PROCOR Cops against illegal drugs continue to gain grounds following destruction of more than 19.2 million worth of marijuana plants in seven (7) plantation sites and the arrest of seven (7) drug personalities in Benguet in a weeklong operation from January 10-16, 2021.

In Kibungan, continuous marijuana eradication operation of Benguet PPO resulted to the destruction of more or less 62,170 pieces of fully-grown marijuana plants, 125 pieces of marijuana seedlings and 30 kilos of dried marijuana stalks with a total estimated Standard Drug Price of Php 16,039,000.00

In a separate continuous marijuana eradication operation in Bakun, operatives of Benguet PPO discovered a more or less 16,150 pieces of fully-grown marijuana plants with a total estimated Standard Drug Price of Php 3,230,000.00 in three different plantations sites in Brgy. Kayapa.

All marijuana plants were uprooted and burned on-site.

Still, as part of the intensified anti-illegal drugs operations of PROCOR, operatives of Benguet PPO was able to arrest six drug personalities in Benguet.

1. Amiel Guile Gutierrez Eligores, 2) Rasmia Ebra Balang, 3) Sharon Galuba Lorenzana, 4) Rommel Cabrera Lagera, 5) Jojit Azucena Tesion, and 6) Hazel Mae Guiles Dogcio were arrested in different but continuous anti-illegal operations of the different Police Stations of Benguet PPO. (PROCOR RPIO)
