15 Ifugao MSMEs receive livelihood assistance from DTI

LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA) – – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in the province through the Negosyo Centers (NCs) provided livelihood assistance to some micro, small and medium enterprises of Alfonso Lista town recently.
The NC-Alfonso Lista facilitated the turn-over of more than P100, 000.00 worth of livelihood kits to beneficiaries to enhance their respective operations that would eventually provide job opportunities in the community.
The recipients consisted of nine storeowners, five weavers and a furniture maker who received each P7,000.00 worth of livelihood kits funded through the Livelihood Seeding Program- Negosyo Sa Barangay (LSP-NSB).
DTI Ifugao Provincial Director Lino D. Cungihan and Mayor Edralin B. Alipio led the turnover of the livelihood assistance to the beneficiaries at the municipal gymnasium witnessed by government officials and employees and other individuals.
The recipients were earlier profiled during the conduct of LSP-NSB seminars by DTI personnel in barangays Laya, Ngileb, and Little Tadian. The given livelihood kits were based on the needs of these MSMEs.
Meanwhile, the DTI-Ifugao accredited the Tripple Leo Emission Testing Center in Alfonso Lista. operated by Leo Mae Cleofas., and may now start conducting smoke emission testing (JDP/MBL-PIA CAR, Ifugao)
