As the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) intensifies its efforts to combat crime in the region, four wanted individualsβincluding two from Baguio Cityβs most wanted listβwere apprehended in a single-day operation conducted on February 17, 2025.
In Baguio City, joint operations led by the Napino Cops of the Baguio City Police Office resulted in the arrest of two men, aged 80 and 71, who were listed as the No.9 and No.10 Most Wanted Persons at the city level. Both were wanted for two counts of Estafa.
βThese arrests demonstrate our commitment to bringing all those accused of crimes to justice,β stated PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO,JR, the Regional Director of PRO CAR.
Further operations in Abra and Benguet led to the apprehension of two more wanted individuals. In Abra, the Abante Cops of the Abra Police Provincial Office arrested a 46 years old man on a bench warrant for a 2020 rape case in Sallapadan, Abra. Meanwhile, in Benguet, the Cabalyero Cops of the Benguet PPO arrested a 23 years old man for robbery in La Trinidad, Benguet.
All four individuals are now in police custody and will be presented to the respective courts that issued their warrants.
