The men and women of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR) gathered at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, to honor and bid farewell to PBGEN PATRICK JOSEPH GAMA-AS ALLAN, who is retiring after more than three decades of distinguished career in the Philippine National Police.

The retirement ceremony held on August 28, 2024, was led by the PRO-CAR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, and was attended by other members of the Command Group, Regional Staff, Special Staff, Chiefs of the Regional Special Support Units, other PNP key officers, PRO-CAR personnel, and the friends, classmates, and family of PBGEN ALLAN.

The ceremony began with an arrival honors, followed by the trooping of the line. Subsequently, PBGEN ALLAN was awarded a Medalya ng Pambihirang Paglilingkod for his role as Deputy Regional Director for the Administration of PRO-CAR, and a Medalya ng Paglilingkod for his 33 years of dedicated service in the PNP. He also received a gallery of awards and tokens from PRO-CAR and various units, and his wife, Mrs. Heideliza D. Allan, was presented with a plaque of appreciation for her unwavering support.

In his valedictory message, PBGEN ALLAN expressed his gratitude to his family, friends, colleagues, mentors, and PRO-CAR. He also encouraged his fellow officers to embrace the DKP threefold agenda of the Regional Director and uphold PRO-CAR’s reputation as the Home of the Most Disciplined Cops.

Further, he also imparted the real meaning of service from a plebe knowledge entitled β€œWhat is Service.”

Β β€œLearn to live without fear. Go through such pains and suffering without complaining. Learn to appreciate the beauty of the common things around you. Learn to serve the lowliest and the poorest without counting the cost or asking in return. Glad to be alive but unafraid to die,” he said

Following his message, the Chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division, PCOL ARNOLD D RAZOTE, read the retirement order. At the same time, the Regional Executive Senior Police Officer, PEMS Dennis W Enomis, led the lowering and encasing of PBGEN ALLAN’s personal flag.
